Abstract
The Symphonia’s performance highlighted the unique connection between the Historic Triangle and Bermuda by featuring a specially commissioned piece by Mike Williamson titled The Sea Venture: Songs of the Early Settlers of Bermuda and Jamestown. Other compositions performed during the concert included Claude Debussy’s Prelude to The Afternoon of a Faun, Aaron Copland’s suite from Appalachian Spring and Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, Maple Leaf Rag and Ragtime Dances.
