Abstract

Men and Women migrant workers face different challenges and vulnerabilities especially regarding susceptibility to violence, human rights abuses, discrimination, and health risks. Furthermore, migration policy in the political realms framing and response appear to be along the line of male issues. The lack of attention to women issues among migrant workers is examine in this chapter. In particular the role of ICTs in empowering women is outlined.
