Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

In 2008, a national on-line survey and a telephone interview of dual-certified vision education professionals was conducted to provide a comprehensive picture of the efficacy of the dual-certification itinerant service delivery model for the education of students with visual impairments. This study identified primary roles of these educators, challenges they faced, descriptions of their caseloads, their overall satisfaction with their personnel preparation training programs, topics for professional development, and their opinions concerning the need for such a model.
