Abstract

Uterine prolapse may occur early in the postpartum period of mares, primarily due to uterine inertia. It is also possible post-abortion, and requires immediate emergency treatment. This chapter discusses step by step procedure for performing the uterine prolapse treatment. It lists equipments and supplies needed to perform the uterine prolapse treatment. The chapter discusses a technique for replacing the uterine prolapse.
