TMEA REGION 6 BAND CONDUCTOR

This invitation was to work with the top wind, brass and percussion students by audition for Region 6 in Texas. This invitation was extended in 2018 with 2020 being my first availability. Texas is known for having the best high school talent and teaching in the country and often TMEA Region Bands in Texas will demonstrate higher talent than many of the All-States. The visibility and outreach for the TTU School of Music, band program and wind, brass and percussion applied studios is enormous and directly impacts a high number of the most talented music students and their teachers within the region. The recruiting implications are specific by professional interest but broad in this unique sphere of influence. These opportunities are often the "gateway experience" to the TTU School of Music.
