Teaching and learning for the transfer of mathematical skills and knowledge is a challenge. The large classroom sizes, unique learning needs and agenda of individuals, and the overall negative attitudes toward mathematics make this issue even more challenging. With this chapter, our goal is to review the instructional design and technology research focusing on the transfer of mathematical knowledge and skills.
