Abstract
A procedure for numerical simulation of deformation process of the interlayer in diamond anvil is elaborated and realized in terms of the high pressure effect and the large elastoplastic strains of material (T301 hardened steel). The distributions of elastic and plastic zones of deformation and stresses of anvil-interlayer contact surface are obtained. The stage character of deformation process is revealed.
