Abstract

This paper reports the findings of an analysis aimed at determining whether dimensions of heuristic player-avatar relationship assessment (PAR) and discrete player-avatar interaction features (PAX) vary by videogame genre. Findings suggest that heuristic PAR does not vary by game genre, however the more discrete relational features do vary.
