N2 - A neutron-number (N) dependence of analyzing powers A() has been observed in (p,t) reaction leading to the quadrupole vibrational states (21+) in Ru98, Pd102,108, Cd114, Sn116, and Te120,126. Although analyzing powers for the ground-state transitions A(,0g+) are very similar to each other, A(,21+) for the nuclei belonging to the beginning of the N=50-82 shell are markedly different, having almost opposite signs, from those for nuclei belonging to the latter half of the shell. NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ru100, Pd104,110, Cd116, Sn118, Te122,128(p,t), E=22.0 MeV; measured (), Ay(); enriched targets.
