Abstract
There are four goals in the current plan: increased organizational capacity;
greater acceptance of community engagement as a valued role of public
universities; increased opportunities for mutually beneficial activities related
to scholarship, learning and service; and increased capacity of community
engagement and outreach professionals. To support these goals, there is a
specific effort to develop excellent internal and external messaging campaigns.
CEO encourages all those who are interested in achieving these goals to meet
and work together to identify strategic actions for CEO in the next three years.
This session offers a great opportunity for networking and involvement.
