N2 - The moire hole drilling problem is solved in all its possible manifestations. The method to solve this problem uses an over-deterministic method, using large amounts of fringe-order information available away from the edge of the hole and axes of symmetry, from anywhere in the displacement field, to solve both of these inverse problems. Three approaches with an incrementally increasing level of difficulty are addressed.
