Abstract
Conducted The Lubbock Chorale and orchestra in a very special first-time SINGALONG MESSIAH concert: TLC performed carols of John Rutter and Alfred Burt for part 1 of the concert; following intermission, Handel's MESSIAH was performed (all of Part One + Hallelujah Chorus). with audience members invited to sing the choruses (PDF scores provided to the audience). TLC scholarship singers (TTU students) performed the MESSIAH solos; all orchestral principals (and many others) were TTUSOM faculty colleagues, including new violinist Clara Mahler.
