Silicon nitride polarization beam splitter based on MMI with phase delay line

Abstract

We purpose a nitride polarization beam splitter which shows 21 dB extinction over 100 nm bandwidth and 30 dB at C band. With two-stage cascade, 38 dB flat-band extinction can be achieved for both polarizations.
