Abstract

'Set Out to Disappear', was a solo exhibition of recent work.

The work in Set Out to Disappear was a closer examination of aggression and the idea that we are building our own destruction through a desire for power.

I applied to this show and was accepted by a peer the field, Rebecca Marino, Associate Director of University Galleries at Texas State University. Marino is is also an art writer, editor and visual artist.

Pump Project has an excellent reputation in Austin and is one of the leading contemporary art venues in the city.

The opening coincided with the Texas Biennial and was attended by over 500 people.

-Three sculptural works were presented. Of those pieces: one new installation that was made in 2017, and one new sculpture was made in 2017.
