This note summarizes the results of a study of the identification of the H0 → W+W- → ℓ+ℓ′-vℓv̄ ℓ′ signal for MH0 = 170 GeV c-2. This study is motivated by the papers written by Dittmar and Dreiner. We carried out a similar study using Pythia to generate events and a CMSIM calorimeter simulation for the jet veto, and compared with their results. We also show some comparison between Pythia- and ISAJET-generated events for this process.
