Abstract
This book contains a series of lesson plans for middle level K-12 classrooms. Each chapter contains three lessons on a particular theme. There is an introduction to each theme at the beginning of the chapter and additional mathematical background is provided in appendices. Discussion questions and assessment criteria are provided for each lesson. Lessons include reference to national U.S. mathematics and science standards.
