## Abstract

It is assumed that the basic idea of shell model where the two-body, nucleon-nucleon forces, completely represented by an averaged central potential, is, in particular, unlikely to be valid for ^{6}Li. Instead a substantial residual two-body interaction is expected which leads to admixture of configurations above (1s)^{4}(1p)^{2} state in the harmonic oscillator well in order to give a correct wave function of ^{6}Li. This wave function is capable to predict the type of residual interaction yielding the potential depth and range with the oscillator parameter.
