N2 - We calculate the O(αs) corrections to biinear latice vertex operators in nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD). We use the lowest order NRQCD action, including only the time derivative and kinetic energy terms and no spin effects. We give the corrections required to convert a lattice calculation to a continuum result for the heavy-light pseudoscalar decay constant and the leptonic width of heavy-quark bound states. We also present results for the O(αs) corrections to the heavy-quark self-energy which can be used to obtain predictions for absolute hadron masses from numerical simulations.
