Abstract
In this essay we continue an analysis that we began in our 2014 Women’s Studies in Communication (WSC) article, “Splitting Women, Producing Biocitizens, and Vilifying Obamacare in the 2012 Presidential Campaign.” That article examined Republican discourse about women’s reproductive rights during the 2012 U.S. Presidential campaign. Here we extend that article’s analysis to consider the aftermath of what came to be known in 2012 as the latest phase of a “Republican war on women."
