Abstract
The differences and similarities between Bohmian and semiclassical mechanics were studied. Quantum trajectory methods based on Bohmian mechanics were characterized by divergent forces and erratic trajectories near nodes. These two approaches were unified into a single method that captures the best features of both, and in addition, satisfies the correspondence principle. Stationary eigensates in one degree of freedom and other applications were also anticipated.
