Abstract

The optimization and construction of the symmetrized, orthogonal Weyl-Heisenberg wavelet functions with a phase space truncation scheme were discussed. The wavelet functions were also used in quantum dynamic calculations. The multidimensional Schrödinger equation was solved using the wavelet functions, which were basically modified Wilson-Daubechies wavelets. It was observed that the phase space, which were used to generate phase space localization, was decaying exponentially in both position and momentum space.
