N2 - Water recycling and disposal facility requirements for the Marcellus natural gas trend are discussed using data analytic methods. Data analytic methods aim to handle dataset diversity and scale, and apply computational requirements for estimating future fluids production, and the optimization of water recycling facility location and size. The application of data analytics to large-scale, data-intensive industry problems is illustrated, and challenges of application are discussed and resolved. Due to the limitations of data availability in the West Virginia section of the Marcellus, this research focuses on the Pennsylvania section.
