N2 - This study examined the relationship between the students’ individual demographics and categories of student status (graduate, delay, or dropout) in an online certificate program. In total, 146 students’ characteristics such as age, gender, and employment status with their prior knowledge, perceptions, and preferences were obtained by a survey and a questionnaire. The findings of the study indicated that the location of students is related to their dropout decision.
