Abstract

Press Play, a nationally juried exhibit of artworks consisting primarily of any print-making media. Selections for the exhibition will be made by our Guest Juror Mark Lunning, Master Printmaker for OpenPressLTD of Denver, CO.  “Play” should feature largely in the artworks and can be interpreted widely including themes of artistic, exploratory, imaginative, athletic, dramatic and other connotations of play as they influence the media, context and content of the work.As a part of Colorado's Month of Printmaking program, this exhibit will be promoted with other print-making focused gallery and museum exhibits that will go on across state. This biennial exhibit program featured over 50 different exhibits of printmaking in 2014, the inaugural year.The Fort Collins Lincoln Center is a city-owned and operated cultural center in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is one of Colorado’s largest and most diverse presenters of professional theatre, dance, music, and visual arts.The mission of the Lincoln Center Art Galleries is to promote and nourish the creation and appreciation of the visual arts. Diverse exhibitions, programs, and projects engage and inspire our community through the world of art and ideas.
