Abstract

The structures of the [Mo₆(μ₃-Cl)₈(OMe)₆]^2- and [Mo₆(μ₃-OMe)₈(OMe)₆]^2- anions have been determined and reveal interesting comparisons of MM and MO distances with related Mo₆(μ₃-X)₈⁴⁺ containing compounds and polynuclear alkoxides of molybdenum.
