Abstract
We make a contribution in this paper by reporting the effects of interstate differences in occupational licensing burdens on the probability of migrating across state lines. Using a modified gravity equation, we are focusing on how occupational licensing burdens affect the intra-US movements of individuals already in the labor force and, in particular, those individuals without a college-level education.
