Abstract

This exhibition is a survey of artists working in South and West Texas. It was juried by Malaquis Montoya, artist and professor emeritus in Chicana-Chicano studies and art at the University of California, Davis and Valerie Cassel Oliver, curator, of Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston. There were works from 35 artists chosen. More than approximately 500 works from 135 artists were submitted.
