Abstract

The experience in moving the work measurement and the methods engineering multimedia laboratory from the CD to the World Wide Web is discussed. The multimedia version was developed in Macromedia Director 4.0 (and later moved to Director 5.0) and was made accessible over the Internet by the use of Macromedia's Shockwave technology. The issues relevant to moving to the Web are presented and the data gathered through the experience in an attempt to compare the CD and Web technologies are discussed.
