Abstract
A 3-D model of atmospheric transport of pollutant developed by the authors, was tested for an ability to describe concentrations variations under breeze conditions. The results of field experiments in the area of the Santa Barbara Channel in Southern California were used for testing. The incorporation of the main physical characteristics of breeze circulation into the model allowed us to give a good description of space-time characteristics of the pollutant concentration and obtain realistic results as compared with observation data. It is shown that the model considered can be applied to predict pollutant concentration under breeze conditions.
