Markets: Long-term, rapid growth predicted for Indian technical textiles

Abstract

A study conducted by the Nonwoven and Advanced Materials Laboratory at The Institute of Environmental and Human Health, Texas Tech University, had it that long-term, rapid growth is predicted for Indian technical textiles. The average growth rate will be 13.3% for the period 2005-2050, which is more than the expected growth in USA and Europe. The figures in the study were taken from growth data for gross domestic product and are based on World Bank Statistics.
