Joyce and the Narrative Structure of Incest

Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

Abstract

This book argues that incest has a narrative structure that both impels and is impelled by story-telling. The structure involves a mutual relation of story-tellers who might be imagined to exist in a simple power arrangement, but whose relation through incest narrative is in fact mutually constitutive.
