Abstract

"Joint Effort II" was the second annual international juried exhibition of collaborative art the collective 'Expanded Draught' ('E.D.') has hosted. I served as the juror and preparator for "Joint Effort II". 'E.D.' invited other artistic collaborators – collaborative groups, collectives, art-making duos and the alike – to apply for this unique exhibition highlighting the art of collaboration through the lens of video. 'E.D.' promoted and advertised the call for artists internationally. Of the submissions, I selected works from: Emma Northey and Stephen Roedel; Australia; Hannah Todt and Elen Hallégouët, Austria; The Omega Point, Germany; Ashish Dhola, India; Aliina Lindroos, Moran Been-noon, and Dolev Laxer, Ireland; Kushtrim Zeqiri, Kosovo; Janice Hughes and Marc Johansen, Scotland; Angela Darby and Robert Peters, United Kingdom; Tom LaPann; United States. The the exhibition was free and open to the public and was on display at the Charles Adams Studio Project Studio D during the First Friday Art Trail in September.
