Abstract
The Indian textile industry is laying emphasis on market of technical textiles so as to overcome the negative impact of economic slowdown, where the industry is dependable on disposable income of the customer. The technical textiles see opportunity in both domestic as well as export market in developing countries as India and China due to the need use application and ever growing need for value added textile products. Technical textiles are also making developments, moving from wovens and nonwovens to composite materials used for end products as sanitary products, packaged wipes, geotextiles and functional finished apparel materials. The industry's converting sector comprising of small and medium scale enterprises and focus to concert rollgoods into useful products thereby creating platforms for international trade. Technical textiles in India also play a major role in infrastructure development and health care improvement and aim to achieve greater prospects in the market by creating awareness of processors and products.
