Abstract

With Honda Motors' announcement of doubling its capacity in India coupled with the increasing use of nonwovens products, Indian textile companies are seeing bright future. To cope with the immediate requirements of car manufacturers, India needs to enlarge its base in semi-durable and consumer goods nonwoven technical textiles. Awareness of both the technology and marketing of nonwovens products should be enhanced. The Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) hopes to fill this need.
