Abstract
The Indian manufacturing sector continues to grow but the service/IT sector is not and that it needs to be sustained in manufacturing and agricultural sectors. With a growth in textile, the general manufacturing and agricultural sectors, the Union Government's plan of an inclusive growth will be achieved. Ultimately, India should go into value-added textiles that are disposable and semidurable goods. Thus, high productive and low cost technologies that have mass production capabilities are needed and this is where nonwovens and technical textiles comes in.
