Abstract
In the Spring 2020 semester, Jill hired a judge, read all chapbook submissions and selected ten finalists to send to the judge. By June 2020, the winner had been named, and Jill sent and received contracts and financial forms from the winner and the judge. She completed the social media announcement of the winner and rejected the manuscripts that were not selected. In August, she typeset the proofreading file. In the Fall 2020 semester, Katie proofread the issue and keyed in changes during proofreading rounds. Jill selected the cover art and completed the cover with the cover designer. In early November, Jill typeset the final layout, managed the design, negotiated production with the printer including changes in the galleys stage, paid the contributor, the judge, and the printer, and prepared the mailing envelopes for distribution. Katie read the galleys and sent Jill the changes to make and submit to the printer.
