Abstract

This publication, completed by the Ethics and Bylaws Committee of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors, for which I was chair and lead author, is the American Counseling Association's endorsed code for its membership, numbering 58,000. All professional counselors who are members of the association are required to follow this code of ethics.
