Abstract
This paper examines a design pedagogy of traveling studio through methodical processes of sensible and responsible architectural investigations within a dense urban context. The process of three primary phases consists of field measuring, development of analytical narratives, and manifestation of place-making. The method of process establishes an engagement of understanding the collection of diverse urban patterns while simultaneously responding architecturally within the particular cultural, social, political, and religious context.
The testing begins with a series of analytical studies of field measuring to dissect compositional arrangement, form, texture, and the varying sectional and spatial urban qualities. These analytical studies of haptic registrations are the hands-on measurements of carefully selected locations of difference rooted in the city by recognizing the scale-specific and time-specific identities. Amplifying and slowing down the dissections of intensely layered mo
