Abstract

A new guide is introduced which aims to provide assistance in the use of wind load provisions set forth in ASCE Standard 7-95. The guide contains six example problems, worked out in detail, which can provide direction to practicing professionals in assessing wind loads on a variety of buildings and other structures. Errata and classifications from the previous guide are also included.
