Abstract

Locating hidden targets and imaging the entire region are challenges for indoor synthetic aperture radar (SAR) applications. In this paper, a full-coverage indoor SAR imaging method with a vehicle-based frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar system is proposed. The solution can extract multiple SAR images obtained along different sections of a moving trajectory and fuse the results into a complete indoor image. Experiments have been conducted to demonstrate the accuracy and robustness of the proposed method.
