Abstract
"Flesh and Bone II explores the human figure in a contemporary context and highlights the intimacy involved in its portrayal," wrote juror Lorelle Rau, curator (incl. exhibitions at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Chasen Galleries, and the Looking Glass Gallery), art consultant with The Anderson Group: Brand & Marketing Communications, and artist. 312 pieces were submitted; thirty-nine works, from forty-four artists, were selected and exhibited. My piece, 'Agito [Conor]' was shown, and was twice noted in the Washington Post's review: https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/theater_dance/in-the-galleries-bodies-that-are-more-than-flesh-and-bone/2016/07/21/d2ef376a-4d1b-11e6-aa14-e0c1087f7583_story.html?utm_term=.7e88f62e79e6
