Abstract
The symposium is designed to bring professional conducting instruction to the Puebla area, where a conducting degree is currently not available. I presented lecture sessions on topics related to band and orchestral literature and conducting pedagogy, as well as provided practicum opportunities and instruction with the resident ensembles. The symposium concluded with a concert conducted mostly by symposium participants.
