Abstract

This was a collaborative performance with TTU faculty and two graduate students whereby I programmed the work and solicited faculty interest for the first faculty <i>Collaborations </i>series of the Spring 2020 semester. A staple in 20th century wind chamber literature, the <i>Octuor </i> was challenging with limited rehearsal time and required extremely focused attention to rehearsal efficiency and performance leadership for the technical and musical difficulty of the repertoire.
