Abstract
Sang-Mi Yoo photographs homes that are at the edge, where urbanization and tradition meet. After studying and selecting architectural patterns of residential houses, she transforms these photographs in to patterns through the use of collage, drawing, prints and paper and felt laser cuts. The architecture of these cookie-cutter homes resonates as archetypes of “home”.
