Abstract

A first principles method for the calculation of dynamical spin correlation functions at finite temperatures (T > Tc) and in the presence of an external field is presented. The formalism is then applied to the Heisenberg model to obtain the dependence of the spin diffusion coefficients on temperature and magnetic field.
