Abstract

In this report the study of the diffusion of linear and ring polystyrenes in solutions of linear polystyrene is presented. Diffusants were fluorescently labeled, and the diffusion coefficient was measured with the method of fluorescence recovery after photobleaching. The measurements were performed on the solutions in the concentration range between 0. 017 mg/ml and 0. 35 mg/ml, which covers both the unentangled and entangled regimes.
