Abstract
Served as Music Director, pianist, and Conductor of the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre Young Artist production of "Speed Dating Tonight," a cutting-edge opera by American composer Michael Ching. Also worked with YA's (most being graduate students or immediately post graduate) in coaching sessions; conducted production promo appearances; and conducted the four performances. 4-week residency. Performances held at the historic Brucemore Mansion. The CROT Young Artist Program attracts singers from throughout the USA and from countries abroad. The performance was a Midwest/Iowa premiere.
