Abstract

It takes a committed team of campus actors to create, manage, reward, facilitate, and champion engagement activities within one’s own campus and community partners. But does your institution have the right team in place to support your institution’s engagement agenda? Drawing on empirical research of engaged APLU institutions, this interactive session explores what an effective team looks like to support engagement from the inside-out. Session participants will walk away with a better understanding of how actors within complex APLU institutions can work across boundaries (internal and external) to build capacity and support for engagement.
