Abstract

Corner 2 Corner: Referencing urban practices of wall pasting of posters, four artist teams will paste different sets of printed posters, covering up the previous day’s set of posters. This event is both a collaborative installation and performance involving national and international artists interested in collaboration and community-based projects. Each team will develop two interrelated posters, different from the other teams but related to the larger theme of “Global Implications”. The topics will include, but not be limited to, community collaborations, dissemination of information, public consumption of information, and the disassociation with the physical.

Production of event included:

After receiving acceptance for special events category, performance/installation at the Southern Graphics Council Conference, organized teams of artists and exhibition schedule, purchased all supplies and coordinated shipping of supplies and posters to Chicago.

Participated in live action screen printing during the opening of Corner2Corner2 and Satisfaction Town. Columbia College, Chicago, IL.
