Abstract

A discussion covers the efforts carried out by the Louisiana State University to validate experimental data and statistically evaluate concentrations of different constituents in each exploration and production waste category identified by the Department of Natural Resources; the geometric mean and median for each element in each waste type being substantially below the TLCP standard for that element; waste characteristics; and the concentrations of benzene and inorganic constituents in each waste type.
